Description
This course builds on topics introduced in the Workflow Design I and Workflow Design II courses. It uses a workshop format to illustrate the advanced details of a special workflow step called the item handler.
In this course you will expand your knowledge of the item handler step, learning through detailed content how to use this feature to automatically perform the following operations in the Open Text Content Server (formerly known as Livelink ECM - Enterprise Server):
- Create folders in a Content Server container or in the workflow attachments volume.
- Add, modify, or delete categories on Content Server items.
- Change the current values of workflow attributes.
- Perform versioning on documents and compound documents.
- Move or copy workflow attachments or Livelink items outside the workflow.
- Information also will be provided to highlight the system administrative responsibilities associated with the item handler step.
