GlobalStar Enterprise and ECM Champion Awards - General Information

Every year at the annual user conference, formerly known as LiveLinkUp, Open Text hosts its eagerly anticipated awards ceremony to celebrate our customers' successes in deploying outstanding ECM solutions and to recognize ECM Champions within our customer user base.

GlobalStar Enterprise Awards

The GlobalStar Enterprise Awards showcase organizations around the world that are dedicated to achieving real business value as well as competitive advantage using Open Text's ECM solutions.

Ten finalists will be chosen from the entries. A representative from each finalist organization will receive a free roundtrip airfare and admission to Content World as well as free accommodations for three nights.

Each finalist solution will be recognized at an awards ceremony. One finalist will receive the GlobalStar Enterprise Award as well as 2,000 GlobalStar points (worth US $2000.00). The second and third runners-up will receive 1,000 GlobalStar points (worth US $1000.00 ). (In order to redeem the points, Open Text customers must officially register for GlobalStar by completing and submitting a GlobalStar sign-up form.).

All finalist and winning entries will be promoted through a nation-wide press release following the conference. In addition, all finalists will be announced in the Winners Circle.

GlobalStar Enterprise Awards Selection Criteria

All GlobalStar Enterprise Awards entries will be reviewed based on a Need/Value/Benefit analysis and the judges will consider which solutions enable the greatest benefits to end-users, provide for improved productivity levels, demonstrate functionality and innovation, and ensure potential for future growth.

Eligibility

All customers of Open Text and the Open Text Group companies are encouraged to submit an entry to the GlobalStar Enterprise Awards. If you have entered the awards program in previous years, you are still welcome to apply.

Submitting Entries

We are now accepting submissions for the 2008 GlobalStar Enterprise Awards. To request an entry form, click here.

The deadline for completed award submissions is September 15, 2008. We encourage customers to request the entry form well in advance of the deadline to have sufficient time to complete the submission.

GlobalStar ECM Champion Awards

The GlobalStar Champion Awards recognize individuals within our customer base who have championed ECM solutions within and outside their organizations.

GlobalStar ECM Champions will be presented with a recognition award at the Content World conference. The winners will also receive:

• An engraved acrylic plaque for their desk;
• 1000 GlobalStar points;
• A public announcement on the Open Text corporate Web site;
• A tag against their name in Open Text Online Communities, the Knowledge Center, and any other Open Text Online sites where they have an account, which will identify them as a 2008 GlobalStar ECM Champion;
• The opportunity to author an individual blog on Open Text Online Communities;
• An opportunity to deliver a public webcast jointly with Open Text on a topic of their choice during the next year; and
• An opportunity for a special web meeting with Open Text product and solutions staff where they can connect with other Champions to network with and learn from similar-minded executives.

GlobalStar ECM Champion Selection Criteria

How can your recognize an ECM Champion? Think of those individuals within the Open Text user base who you can go to for answers and they will respond selflessly, the ones that make a difference and are active within their own organization and/or in the larger user community, online or in person.

Nominating ECM Champions

You are welcome to nominate yourself, another person within your organization or another individual within the Open Text user community. You can nominate as many people as you think deserve to be recognized! To do so, please go to the online ECM Champion nomination form and briefly let us know who you would like to nominate and why. The deadline for nominations is September 30, 2008.

GlobalStar Program

We encourage all customers to sign up for GlobalStar to be eligible to receive GlobalStar points for participation in the awards. GlobalStar is Open Text's customer rewards program that allows us to say thank you to our customers for your continued support and loyalty. In return for your participation in the reference activities offered by GlobalStar, you will be rewarded with GlobalStar points that can be redeemed for consulting, training, user conference admission, and more. Each point is worth one US $. All members of GlobalStar who submit an entry to the GlobalStar Enterprise Awards will automatically receive 200 points worth US$200.00.

Fees

There is no fee to enter a submission for the GlobalStar Enterprise or ECM Champion Awards.
