Cancellation Policy

Please read through our policies on transfers, cancellations and subsititutions for our training and education programs.

Transfers, Cancellations and Substitutions

Classroom Learning

Customers canceling a registration, changing course dates, or switching courses, held at an Open Text Customer Education Center must do so at least 10 business days in advance in order to avoid paying a 50% cancellation fee.

If cancellation notice is received less than 5 business days prior to the course date, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the training fee.

Customers substituting a registered delegate from the same organization may do so up to the commencement of the course without penalty.

Cancellation, transfer or substitution notice must be given in writing to the regional Open Text Education Center or by e-mail to the Training Registrar at the following locations:

On Site Learning

For On Site Learning there is no penalty if a cancellation notice is received 30 days prior to the on site training date.

If a cancellation notice is received by the Training Registrar less than 30 days but more than 15 days prior to the training date, the cancellation charge is 50% of the training fee.

If a cancellation notice is received by the Training Registrar less than 15 days prior to the training date, the cancellation charge is 100% of the training fee.


Cancellation Policy

Open Text reserves the right to cancel a course at least five business days in advance of the course commencing.

In the event of severe weather conditions or other unforeseen disasters, every effort will be made to provide alternative course locations or to reschedule the course in the same location as soon as possible.
