This course is intended for CX-E administrators, partner technicians, and those interested in learning how to configure a CX-E system for unified messaging. This is also a required course in the CX-E Certified Administrator learning path. This course starts off with an overview of the different ways that unified messaging can be implemented on a CX-E system. This is followed by lecture and demonstration on how to configure each type, as well as how to deploy transcription.

- Describe each of the four types of unified messaging available with CX-E.
- Be able to prepare the system and the end customer for unified messaging.
- Understand how web messaging works, and how to use it.
- Configure an SMTP profile.
- Configuring a subscriber for simple unified messaging.
- Install integrated client access (ICA) on the CX-E platform.
- Configure subscriber mailbox, and a subscriber’s client, for ICA.
- Understand the different types of server-based unified messaging.
- Create a server-based unified messaging profile for both IMAP and MS Office 365/Exchange.
- Configure subscriber four server-based unified messaging.
- Understand the interaction between CX-E and in email servers message store.
- Understand the three different types of transcription available.
- Configure a transcription profile.
- Configure subscriber for transcription, and test at the feature works.
